Thank you for supporting hand2hand! The breakfast and snack food donations were packaged by students during their winter celebrations. The packs were picked up and taken to the hand2hand warehouse where they will be placed in backpacks for local kids facing food insecurity to take home over the weekends. Thank you to all the families who helped support this service project!
Cannonsburg Club Card Orders are due to the office by Friday, December 7. Information will be going home early this week.
Original Works: The Original Works order forms were sent home recently and orders need to be placed online by Monday, November 19. Anyone else looking forward to a new mug with your child’s artwork?! Ranger’s GIVE Gift Fair: We need lots of volunteers to help with this FUN event! You’ll be helping students shop and wrap special items for their loved ones.
Art Room: Mr. Donohoe could use some help in the art room this year. You can volunteer to help during your child’s art time or at your convenience. Sometimes Mr. Donohoe will have specific projects for you to work on, and other times you will be an extra set of hands helping with the class.
Teacher Conference Meals: The PTO organizes dinner for the the staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences. We are still looking for a few things for Thursday the 15th of November.
Please consider volunteering to help provide dinner to our teachers during conferences on Monday, November 12 or Thursday, November 15. Thanks!
The Twelfth Annual Veteran's Day Lunch is quickly approaching. If your child would like to invite a veteran to have lunch with them on Friday, November 9, please complete the attached form and send it to school this week.

Families, the Halloween Parade begins at 2:10pm (note the later start time) on Wednesday. The Ranger will be leading the parade out of the school and around the front circle. Hope to see you there!
It's Book Fair Week! The book fair is open 8:30-4:30, Monday-Thursday, and 8:30-1pm on Friday. Be sure to send enough money with your child to cover sales tax. Checks can be made payable to Pine Ridge PTO. Nothing motivates kids to read like new books!

Volunteers are busy putting together the 2018-2019 Pine Ridge Family Directory. If you'd like to be included, send in the pink directory info sheet that came home a few weeks ago or print the attached document and send it to school as soon as possible!

See the map below for tomorrow's Homecoming Parade route. Parade begins near the tailgate area behind the Ranger football stadium, follows the service drive out towards Stoneshire, loops through Stoneshire, crosses Hall, through Paradise Lake, to Ada Drive, and finishes at the middle school. Parade starts at 5pm and our Pine Ridge tailgate spots are at the beginning of the parade route. Hope to see you there!

Plan to attend the first PTO General Meeting on Tuesday, September 25 at 9am in the Media Center! You’ll hear from Mr. Phillips and Mr. Salter, our new fourth grade teachers, and from Mrs. Wittland, our new school counselor. Mrs. James will also share general school news and you’ll hear updates from several PTO committees. Remember, our meetings are family friendly so younger children are welcome. See you on Tuesday!
Head Room Parents: We are looking for head room parents! This is a great way to get to know other parents and your child’s peers. HRPs serve as the liaison between classroom parents and the teacher, organizes celebrations, coordinates parent volunteers, and helps during staff appreciation week.
