Happy weekend, fellow Rangers! We are still looking for a couple of eager volunteers to help chair two of our committees for the year. We are in need of a Kindergarten or 1st grade parent to co-chair our Cultural Arts committee. This person would be working with another to bring authors, illustrators, and other artists to Pine Ridge to enhance the students' curriculum.
We are also in need of someone to coordinate babysitting for the PTO meetings & Holiday Celebrations. This person will communicate with parents who require babysitting, child care and the school. He/she will also be responsible for making sure the kids have a craft to do and toys to play with. (Toys are provided by the PTO.)
If you are interested in either of these chair positions, please contact Kylie Rowland at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The creative mind behind the popular The Notebook of Doom series will be visiting our students at PR on Monday, October 3rd. In preparation for his visit, Barnes & Noble is allowing us to purchase Mr. Cummings books at a discounted price. If you need a copy of the pre-order form, click HERE or go to our FORMS page to find a copy.
Tonight from 7-8pm, all 3rd and 4th grade teachers will be hosting Curriculum Night in their classrooms.
Curriculum Night for K-2nd grade parents will take place tomorrow evening. Specials teachers will start out the evening at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria. Afterwards, parents will go to classrooms to hear from the teachers.

It’s been an awesome three days! We have enjoyed having your ‘gifts’ back in the building. :)
On the first day we had an all-school assembly that included staff introductions as well as our debut of PPR – Pine Ridge Rangers that show Pride – Respect – and Responsibility. We are looking forward to seeing this modeled by our students. Ask your children to show you the signals for each of these.
